The UK economy is almost at a standstill: it grew by just 0.1% in the third quarter, after having grown by 0.5% in the second quarter. Meanwhile, inflation fell to 1.75%, which led the Bank of Englad to lower the key interest rate by 25 basis points to 4.75%.
